In the history of the house Yves Saint Laurent are a garment that has set the trend, becoming an icon of the firm. We refer to the ‘Saharienne’ (Saharan), a safari-inspired jacket that happened to African history as part of the fashion fetish of great creator.
Now, the house pays tribute to the jacket with the fragrance ‘Saharienne’, a wild and provocative fresh water that invites us to travel to escape, into the heart of the Sahara. Created by perfumers Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaïm ‘Saharienne’ is a refreshing citrus fragrance with floral shades, soap and spices.
‘Saharienne’ Yves Saint Laurent opens with a bouquet of citrus such as lemon, bergamot and mandarin. His heart is floral and green notes of galbanum hides and black currant. The pink pepper combined with ginger, give way to a selection of woody notes and pine needles.
